To write, to write, is to sing like a bird

To write is to say things that have never been heard

To write is to sprinkle some magical dust,

Into their faces our writing is thrust

To read, to read, is to switch on a light

To read is to spread your wings and take flight

To read is to enter another whole world

In which reader is hero and writer is lord

The writers, the readers, and those in-between

They understand majesty, feel the unseen

To make a connection with somebody’s soul

Is to fulfil life’s only true goal.
